JADEBOATDELIVERIES is a personalized boat transport and charter service. We provide yacht delivery services for the private owner, boat builders, brokers and dealerships.

Do you want to relocate to a new cruising area, reposition for a boat show, deliver to a new owner, transfer a boat between dealerships or simply move south for the winter season? Maybe you’re a new boat owner and need help delivering your new boat. Maybe you want to sail your boat to the Caribbean, but only have one week of vacation; or maybe you desire to build more sea time or just take a learn to sail vacation. We especially like to see the new owner take the opportunity to either ride along or to participate actively during the delivery. The training and experience you will receive on your own vessel will be invaluable. As an owner, aboard a captain-assisted yacht delivery will provide you the perfect opportunity to become fully familiar with your new boat’s characteristics, systems, and performance. If you are unable to make the trip, the captain will provide a post delivery report to let you know how your vessel faired on the cruise.

If instruction is what you desire, we can offer you personalized, on the job training sessions, in every aspect of boat handling, seamanship, and performance. We’ll give you the confidence and skills for you and your family to enjoy your new boat.

Prior planning prevents poor performance. I provide my own GPS, VHF handheld Radio and all required charts for all deliveries. You provide a safe an efficient vessel. To do this, we suggest you service your engines before the captain arrives. Change all filters, belts, and impellers if more than 1 year old. Clean the boat’s bottom and top off the fuel and water tanks. Supply all required safety equipment and have a fully insured vessel with coverage that includes a licensed boat delivery captain. I hold a USCG license #899760. Documentation and state registration with a letter appointing the captain as the owner’s agent should be onboard.

Captain’s fee is $350 per day and the mate earns $150 per day. The daily fee is $500, plus food and travel to and from the boat for two people and all delivery expenses (fuel, dockage, maintenance for example).
